They didn't make the Crucible release then?

I had a quick read through the patch notes, but didn't see any mention of them.

Have they been canned or put on the back burner?

Not sure if they were canned or backburnered, but no they are not in this patch. Sad

Rumor is the new drones are light and medium stasis web drones since the data on them was scraped off the test server, but not published live on the test server. http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/sisi_changes.php
