Yes, every bonus round starts with a recording of the contestant agreeing to be recorded and have the recording possibly placed on an Eve Online fansite for public listening. I'm no lawyer, but that seems to be good common sense regardless. We specifically ask that players do not reveal their real names or other details that make identifying them outside of game possible. If they start to go too far, we immediately cut them off and ask they be more vague. While bonus rounds are fun, and funny sometimes, for all involved, the steps we take to protect the players go far beyond the vast majority of recordings you find online for EVE or any other game. There were a small handful of photos offered by contestants. Of those, we said look, that's cool and all, but please if you feel the need to share that, cover your face with a sign. The lady pics referenced earlier were a complete shock and were the idea of a bu player's girlfriend who said something to the effect of "I wanted to give pics for nerds to fap to."

My yahoo account was hacked, real life details posted on the forum, and I was blackmailed by a gsf director. I caved in and we reached a deal. Everytime you beat the dead horse on your forum alts and lie about the whole thing, bringing it up in every thread I post in, all that happens is I really start to rethink things.

Maybe I should run for CSM. Maybe I should release details of the blackmail.

In some states it's legal to record with only a single party consent. If the second party is outside your state it doesn't matter as the recording, and thus the laws of the state that the recording is taking place in, is the one that matters. However, depending on the photos and videos crossing state lines, even if digitally, there could be federal laws being broken. Especially if any of the people in said photos / videos are minors. Regardless if they claim to not be minors.



Remember that if they are under age that they can't legally give their consent. So, in that regards, be very careful.
