Gallente ships now have glossy reflections?

I've noticed on all my Gallente ships that the three main areas on the ships skin are:
-Base Metal - glossy reflection
-Painted Metal - blurred refl. / non glossy
-Chrome - glossy reflection

The base metal should have reflections blurred and should also be tinted by the diffuse color of the metal. Right now, my ships look like plastic / ceramic and it's painfully noticeable while docked in stations.

Anyone else notice this?

PS: I just up graded to a new video card, but I don't remember it being like this on the old comp. And I haven't even setup/installed the TQ client yet, so I can't check TQ yet.

Well from my own experience, you can have differences of effects if you switch trademarks, like if you upgraded from ATi to NVidia, I've seen some pretty big changes, prolly due to the ATi drivers which are known to be pretty bad ( not using the card's full abilities and in some cases quite unstable as well ).

Is that your case ? Switching from ATi to NVidia ? That might explain the changes you're describing.

A lot of people are commenting on plastic ships. Check out some of the black Amarr ships if you can.
