EVE should be translated to spanish

To be fair german is already a fun language to translate. Even native speakers can have fun discussions as to what is the right article to use. Or a funny story one of my college german professors told me involved him translating to stop 2 guys from fighting. Apparently even low german and high high german can cross signals the wrong way sometimes. Octoberfest and beer probably made the crossed signals as well lol.


But you do have a point. I have seen the Japanese client and although I am still sadly weak in Japanese I had my native speaking wife read some stuff and some of the translations are interesting I will say. But can't fault ccp here too much. the best english to japanese translations I have seen come from games where the dev list is mostly japanese people. Ergo the game was most likely translated from japanese to english lol.

they could be renamed to : "Armas de Destruccion Masiva"......"Weapons of Mass Destruction"......althought you dont really get that power.....

I am playing in English and I am going to continue playing in English.

But I want to have the same rights as a german or japanese customer

I want to bring to this game new people that is discouraged because they can't understand properly, and EVE already has a big inherent difficulty to even put more issues into that. Every day I see people leaving because they can't play in english, and it is sad.

I wouldn't propose this if the game wasn't translated to other languages. Ah, I know that many people will not like the translation and the haterade of "lol this names sound stupid bla bla bla". My point is very easy to understand: as customer I want the same because my money is worth the same. And I want to bring new people to this game, because without new people, this game dies.

And as I said in my first post, there are a huge potential market. I don't know why their numbers doesn't show up.
