I am trying to learn PI and am stuck on turning the P0 into P1.

My current setup: 1 ECU gathering heavy metals routed to a spaceport on a lava planet

I want to add a basic industry facility to turn the heavy metals into toxic metals. I can place the basic industry facility, but I can't route the heavy metals to it, as no schematic is chosen. However, toxic metals is not a schematic option in the factory. My only choices are bacteria, biofuels, biomass, chiral structures and electrolytes.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am not actually looking for bacteria. I am looking for heavy metals (which I have on the lava planet) to turn into toxic metals. As I understand it, I need to place a basic industry facility, choose the toxic metals schematic, and route the heavy metals to the industry facility. The problem arises in choosing the schematic. Toxic metals is not an available schematic. The only available schematics in the lava basic industry facility are those unrelated to lava planets, as you pointed out.

Is there no scrollbar on the schematic list to allow you to scroll through the options?

Just checked and you are seeing the top 5 schematic choices, move the mouse to the left of these in the drop down window and you should see the scrollbar highlight itself as you mouse over it.

I can't believe we had to point you to a scrollbar that is there, and quite clearly there.

Good luck with EVE and PI. You are definitely going to need a lot of it.

The PI interface just generally sucks anyway, so don't feel bad.
