Clarification needed on tournament format/best-of-x matches

Hi CCP

In your threads about the rulesets for NEO you mention that the finals will be a best-of-5, but will there be any other multiple round matches beforehand like during alliance tournament? You are more or less using the same bracket/format blueprint after all...
