I have the same issue - everything works perfectly as it did before, however, since the 1.1 update I'm also missing missile smoke trails! Everything else is there, except the smoke. And yes, I've checked to make sure all the necessary options are ticked and active; even cleared cache - non of it helped.

I then decided to completely remove EVE and all associated files from my machine and do a completely new and fresh install, checked all settings, yet still NO smoke trails - just the little flame spouting out the missiles / torps / etc... but still no smoke! Ugh

i saw the missile smoke trails on the youtube . It maybe the old version of EVE . And i really like that effect .So i joined the Caldari State and bought a Raven. But after i bought it i found that the missile had no smoke trails effect. i really feel disappointment, actually.
it maybe a bug or not . Anyway i don't care about the true physics theory . Would you please do me a favor, add an option that can select the missile smoke trails effect on or off . So some people (maybe a large number) and I can enjoy the smoke trails effect as before.

Still have the same problem with the belts being spread out over 300 km. It would appear, at least in our system, that the patch did not fix the bug with that. Mining is very difficult in the belts because of this.

Well, I don't have Comcast, don't have connection issues, and am also experiencing 10+ socket closed errors a day when running multiple clients. Not only that, one account gets added to the fleet but does not get fleet bonuses, my hangars in station are no longer persistent, and the character portraits in station that I thought were newbros (because they appear as black squares) some 8 days ago still appear as black squares. These socket closed errors are making it impossible to do much of anything (except restart clients over and over) and the lack of persistence, failure to update, and no bonuses have forced me to conclude that there is more going on here than a bad connection.

When is the issue with the courier contracts and them showing up as going through low sec going to be fixed? I keep checking but see no progress.

Thanks

Patch notes for EVE Online: Rubicon 1.2.3
Released on Tuesday, February 25th, 2014

•Fixed various issues where shortest path was being used instead of the autopilot route. Updates to escalation journal, contracts, mission description and asset window are affected.

Shortest path is still being shown instead of autopilot preference for bookmarks in People & Places.

Please fix.

Since 1.2 agent dialog have been periodically unresponsive or misrepresenting actual standings (and options), requiring re-logs sometimes to get proper options.

The input focus for the keyboard has been jumping around on session change, making people accidentally type in search boxes and the like unintentionally and filtering away half ones ships (a shock if you don't know whats going on).

The directional scanner window sometimes gets permanently deleted, so you have to open it every time when undocking. A quick but imperfect workaround is to stack it with your cargo window and have that always open too.

This and a ton of network issues it seems

I am serious!

Hello,

Today's SHITPATCH somehow make many people get "socket closed" issue.
Half the server population got kicked between 18:30 - 18:45 Eve Time.
Issue still continues randomly.
There was no issue at all before you ( CCP ) deployed new build ( 6MB sized ) plus Launcher patch.

Fix it ASAP or even faster.

I can confirm, did not want to post it at first as i did not do enough due diligence on my side of the connection. But yes, its been hell connection and patching wise.

I am serious!

Why is this18Mb patch taking so long to come down off CCP's servers? It refuses to download.

Confirming the same problem with the belts in multiple systems I have checked. The belts were not mined prior to the patch, they just expanded to 4 times their normal size after the patch. Subsequent patches have not fixed this.

How is the client handling DX11 these days? Have the crashes been (mostly) fixed or is this still work in progress?

I have some issues with scanning down sites using probes. When ever there is a system with many sites to be scanned, my probe scanner freezes when trying to scan them down, yet i still hear the sounds of a successful scan or even a completed scan, but i can't see nor warp to it. When i leave the system and come back the probe scanner is working properly, but when i try to scan the sites down again, the problem comes back.
Even weirder, it appears that it's happening on specific solar systems like Nikkishina and Asakai for example (which I visit everyday), but in other systems my probe scanner is working fine.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this, but it started happening after the 25.2.2014 server reset, and it's been going on for two days now. Before that date, everything was working properly.

Missing hidden belts again? Indy 2, but no belts.

We had this bug last time. Do you guys bother to test before releasing patches?

Didn't see anything about it, but my Leopard's color is pixelated and orange since the patch.

I`m afraid I still see no missile trails. All else seems to be working just fine.

Did the usual stuff when facing graphic issues - checking various settings, clearing cache et c.

Still no missile trails.
