This is a fairly popular topic on my corporation's forums so I thought I'd bring the fun to everyone else as well. Here is a place where our scholarly and gifted may come to ponder on lifes great questions.. and re-name terms of the usual wormhole life.. to names that we find more suitable!

A few things we have on our corporations forums already:
-> Cap Stable is known as Cap Awesome
-> Baiting is known as Foreplay
-> Sabre is known as Saab Ray
-> Gila known as Chy-La

So let me know about what you all have renamed and maybe a back story if there is one!

-> PvP is known as Cheesecake. It was initially a 'war cry' (thanks to a particularly drunk Ryane Omega) but became synonymous with pew. ie 'Cheesecake in the static'
-> Vagabond known as a Vargur. Confusing, I know, but Utari tries to sound posh when pronouncing Vaga.
-> Wormhole Space known as Jay-Space. I have honestly no idea how that one stuck.
-> 'Doing a Nat' is what happens when you get mass calculations wrong and end up the wrong side of a collapsed WH.
-> Any kind of wormhole is known as 'Emily' to troll one of our lovesick corpies through all kinds of colourful double entendres.

forgetting to put ammo in your ship is a "Sullen"

Cannonball run = locking anything battleship size or larger on the wrong side of a wormhole. It generally involves as little scanning as possible and making a beline from whatever low/null you pop out at for empire space without docking, warping gate to gate, without a scout.

'It'll buff out' = your ship going into hull and surviving. Usually through negligence.

Edit: any swearword = I need reps, capacitor, there's a new sig, I got jumped doing PI, I launched my bomb early and decloaked the fleet, or I dropped my drink and need to bail so that I don't short out my CPU.

Also, getting stuck on the wrong side of a closed hole is currently referred to Enaisi'ing a hole. That name will change when someone does it in a more expensive ship.

This is a really old one, but "Looks Clear" from a scout always means two Tengus on Dscan.
