First off I will just state that i am unsatisfied with the mechanics of both these commands. First i will state that both these at one point did not even exist within the game and the closest you could warp to any object was 15km. This led to players being clever and creating BM's 15km past objects in alignment so that the could land on 0. As time went by the amount of bookmarks that each player had began to get out of hand so the Warp to 0 command was added and everyone rejoices. Later on the dock function would be added to that you could select dock and jump command were added to initiate a warp to 0 followed by either the jumping process or docking process.

As it is stated above this sounds like it would be a wonderful mechanic other than the fact that warp to 0 really means any distance between 0-3000 meters which could land you outside of jump or dock range. This makes station camping and people like trigger99 just to throw out a famous name, an easy almost 0 risk way to pvp. Camp the undock 24/7 for all i care but killing and podding people before they can dock? NOT GOOD MECHANICS

I understand that i could make instadock BM's for every station but if i have to have bookmarks to stay safe even when docking then what is the point of warp to 0?

All im looking to change is the random distance between 0-3000 why not always land on 0? or change it to always be within docking or jumping range.

does that mean when u fleet warp, everyone will warp to exactly 0m on the same point then bump apart in some sort of ship explosion?

cool

more seriously though, why shouldnt u be vulnerable for a few moments when warping to 0m and trying to dock?

but its not done in such an extent that the server load is crippled by the bookmarks. as far as i know, that was the only reason warping to gates was changed.

so i dnt think ur meant to be safe.

maybe CCP would implement this if everyone made bookmarks for docking.
