Well, the Ganked events and other RvB related content gave me a complete alternative way of playing EvE. Because im working much in real life i dont really have that time to enjoy EvE as i would like to. But Mangala services a "hop in and get some fun" content every saturday - other times RvB allows me to just undock my ship and go pew pew - I dont think that i can imagine changing to a 0.0 large alliance again. But thats not the topic.

Mangala creates good content, is open minded to beginners and veterans equaly, enjoys the game and really keeps a cool head when things go complicated.

I support Mangala for CSM 9 - because Mangala offered a Saturday Community that i dont want to miss.

+1 for Mang. Not only has he put tons of effort in RvB, he's always there for feedback and suggestions as well. He's tireless with organizing events both for RvB and the general community and always does it with a smile. The amount of time and effort he has put in to this community should be recognized.

Mang for CSM9.

Mangala commits a considerable amount of his time to create content not only for the Red vs Blue community but for the rest of EVE as well. He has my support!

After almost ten years of wandering around EvE doing various thisandthatery, I finally joined RvB about a year and a bit ago. Usually when you join something as big as RvB the CEO and those head honcho's are remote distant figures who the rank and file never get to engage with.

Not Uncle Mangala. He is often in corp chat. he is often posting about events. He is often out pvp'ing. In fact, he should change his name to Mangala 'Often' Solaris. How he finds time for the CSM is beyond me [methinks he has a RL clone].

Basically put, he is more than worthy of a seat on CSM 9. The bloke gets my vote.

I'm pretty sure Mang's modesty can't handle anymore praise, so I shall keep it short. My list is 3 items shorter thanks to Mang, you need to vote for him again cause there's still 22 things to fix!

Not really your area, and I am probably flogging a very dead horse - but your thoughts on the chances of POS improvements/changes coming in the next year or so?

You’re right in that POS in general is something that I do not consider as often as others, except when it comes to shooting them. However many many people out there, including you, do give them thought, do want to see them improved or even replaced with something better. While I say that, I would not say no to a massive revamp of them coming sooner rather than later, a result of which could be more people wanting to use, them giving me more things to shoot in high sec that people care about defending.

Now as to whether or not POS may see improvements this year, I'm trapped here aren't I? If I say “yes there is something coming” I possibly graze my NDA and I raise expectations, if I say “nothing is going to change” then people either get mad or stay ambivalent. Suffice to say this is not off of the CSM's radar or CCP's, and I hope that the Winter Minutes bear me out on their release ;)

Thanks for reply - will await Winter Minutes with baited breath!

With this and bearing in mind all the other little touches that this CSM has brought along you'll have my vote!

RvB under Mangala admittedly protects Goon structures in highsec, protected Goons during Burn Jita against highsec wardeccers and according to his own words looking forward to do it again this year.

If you vote for him, you are voting for Goons!
Literally every candidate outside of the official CFC ballot is a better representative for Empire players than him! If you live in Empire, he has no more place on your ballot than Mynnna.

But the best representatives for Empire players ARE goons. Noone has ever provided more content for/with Empire players than them...

I endorse this product and/or service. Mang is a solid guy who genuinely enjoys what he does (even if he yells a bit) and is committed completely to providing entertainment and 'content' for other players. He's constantly asking those on Ganked (and in other chat channels) for improvements and ideas to present to CCP, which is exactly what I'd expect from a CSM member. Unless he goes skitz, he'll be high up my voting list.

Hello Mangala

As you're a CSM8 incumbent, I'd like to ask you...

What do you feel you brought to the CSM8 table that others did not?

What was your finest non-nda'd (i.e. that you can tell us about now) achievement on CSM8?

If Mang gets half the votes he deserves for his work this year, especially at the summit where he kept the requirements of hi-sec visible during the various sessions, then he's got his place in the bag.

I rest my case.

Not with someone as pr0 as Gevlon on the case! Not really sure why he would be against a high sec CSM... but ah well.

To be honest, the whole CSM this year has been pretty good. We've been kept pretty well up to date and things seems to be chugging along well so most of the current CSMs should have little trouble holding votes next time around.

What are your thoughts on the wardec mechanics, how would you improve them and do you have any ideas on making mercenary work something more tangible (ex.: merc work contracts, ingame merc boards, link with bounty system... etc..)

Hi.
What's your stance on off grid links?
If you've already answered the question before you can give me a link to a thread if you like :).
