Reseeding of roids bug

No need to go into detail. The illness is known. The roids do not reseed properly because of a known issue afaik.

They're not that far removed from human, they gotta eat some time. Probably when you dock up, which would explain why the Captain's Quarters load so slow: the pilot goes to grab a sandwich first.

The fact that something has been brought to the devs' attention before does not mean they possess complete information on its properties. Any little bit of info helps in debugging such problems, as there might be unforeseen interactions between variables in that ten-year-old mass of code that is EVE.

The known bug that was causing asteroid seeding issues was fixed last Thursday. If you have newer cases of issues along these lines then please file a bug report so we can look into it.
