for me its this. If you press several times dock/jump button, it will only warp to desired object, wont dock or jump. Single click on jump/dock works always.

I've had very similar issues to this with acceleration gates:
Assuming I'm manually aligned down the accel gate and ready to use it (incursions) if I single click activate I will take the gate instantly, however if I double click my ship will suddenly stop as it does before warping but then will proceed to align down the gate from 0m/s before finally taking the gate.

Also worth noting that I have the same problem as OP as well and that my internet is rather unreliable. So I think that pretty much narrows down this issue and other similar issues to be a network issue.

This is a terrible thread. As such, it's locked. - CCP Falcon

*Snip* Removed reply to a deleted post. ISD Ezwal.

I have this issue too. Occasionally. So it's not that bad for me.

What really sucks of late is, that I have to wait for 2-4 seconds at almost every gate, before a jump is initiated. Even if I'm sitting on the gate at 0 and no matter how busy the systems are.

Remove standings and insurance.

Never had this problem, possibly because I'm in the UK so packet loss to eve's servers in London is rare.

If that's the reason, it really shouldn't be the case - the eve client should transmit the jump and warp commands at the same time.

I have removed some rule breaking posts and those quoting them. As always I let some edge cases stay.
Please people, keep it on topic and above all civil!

The rules:
4. Personal attacks are prohibited.

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another forum user. Posts of this nature are not beneficial to the community spirit that CCP promote and as such they will not be tolerated.

26. Off-topic posting is prohibited.

Off-topic posting is permitted within reason, as sometimes a single comment may color or lighten the tone of discussion. However, excessive posting of off-topic remarks in an attempt to derail a thread may result in the thread being locked, or a forum warning being issued.

That said, if you are experiencing any problems with the game (in this case game-commands given through the UI not being followed up), please file a bug report. The more information from different players on game bugs/glitches reach CCP, the better and easier they can act upon it!

And nope: most of the times it happens when i use d-scan while warping. Maybe this makes some interference in command queues... Not sure. It looks like when you don't touch client at all it does its job well.

Try and replicate it a few times doing that. If you get a reasonable success rate, submit a bug report to CCP with details of how you reproduce it (And when, so they can check the logs that show nothing Blink)

I'm not sure this is related, but the "cruise to zero" thing rang a bell:

I warp to a gate, land within 2500m, hit jump (I dont use the warp&jump button), then my ship approaches the gate. Then after some random delay I jump.

Every time.

I dont really remember when that started. Jumping gates used to be a pretty straightforward affair.

started with odyssey, random dely for jumping, occasionnaly stuck in tunnel for longer than expected, and the fun, is that sometimes, you are in the jump animation BUT you ship will stay on the gate from all other players POV.

if you happen to be killed (you are still targetable), you will see the dest system then be rolled back instantly in your pod.

tldr; they broke the thing, it's bug reported since odyssey day one regarding the delay (100% of time), the "in jump but not really" (pretty rare) yet no changes so far..... :CCP: Roll

it sounds reasonable but i have posted lots of bug reports in my past. and almost nothing was fixed.

My last bug-report is unanswered for like 1 month already. And this is bug where you only need to look at killmail and you see what's wrong. Bugs like this in my software usually take about few minutes to investigate and 1-2 hours to fix. But it looks like here we have very big amount of bug reports....

Interesting. I've spent roughly four hours today doing "chores" involving a bunch of 7 to 16-jump journeys. (Pick-ups and drop-offs.) Using "set destination", I've been listening to Bjork and clicking the "jump" command (which is mapped to D by default) from Selected item, with no trouble whatever. No unbearable, nerve wracking delays. No failures to jump.

On occassion, the next jump won't appear in Selected item. (It pays to pay attention.) I highlight it from the Overview and it continues without fail. (This I've seen happen seemingly when jumping from a region into another region, but only three times in the past months...not enough to know the "for sure" of it, but enough to pay attention should it happen again.) This has happened only once today.

South Florida, whatever servers that involves. No problemo to report.

Edit: Upon reflection, I have been stopping a bit short of stations, and had to activate the AB to close fast enough for a comfortable docking. However, I noticed this begin to happen regularly when I remapped to study a line of Trade books. Apparently, I had to take some points from the category that helps you navigate to speed up the study a bit.

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

When warping to an acceleration gate (Faction Warfare complex) solo or in fleet its best to warp to 10 so you don't find yourself hung up on the gate.
