They won't be in Iceland. The IOC stated years ago they want warmer climes for the Winter Games, thus the slightly winterized swamp we've been seeing the past 2 weeks.

I don't get it personally. Those folks spend their lives training for a small moment of victory, then it's all crashed by sub-par conditions for these sports.

I feel its about the IOC's Ego and their pocket now days. Go watch the winter X games or NHL games if you like that kind of stuff.

Oh yes.

It's IOC policy that the countries sponsoring and attending are supposed to be at peace, and certainly no internal conflicts. We are looking at you Russia. Then Putin and his ridiculous statements and decrees against an entire class of "legitimate people"....

And the IOC just turns around and looks the other way and utterly ignores it all.
