The new Eagle / Vulture / Buzzard / Etc Skins are fugly :\

I forget the name of the Caldari megacorp that supposedly produces that line of T2 ships, but they went from being some of the coolest looking skins in the game with their blue-gray camo schemes to looking utterly terrible with the new "half normal, half gold" skins.

Would it be possible to either bring back the old style using updated shaders or come up with something else? This gold stuff is literally hideous.

I was flying the new Buzzard last night, which also has this skin as those you mentioned.

While I think CCP have done a great job on the new skins so far, I do completely agree, this is my least favourite theme they have added.

I think this comes down to the way the shading goes from gray to gold. It just looks awful. If it was monotone, it would be better, or went from a light gold, to deep gold, but yeah, I prefer my old Buzzard skin any day. I think the skins for these ships should look more like the Raven State Issue - is saw that on Sisi and it looked amazing. For a ship that will never really been seen in game, to me, that awesome skin is wasted.

The other themes for Caldari for ships like the Cerberus are far better than before, and I love the new Cerberus look, along with ships like the Basilisk (Which for some reason I have always liked, while others hate it). These skins look brilliant.

Not Caldari but gotta bring some attention to the Comet as well. Wtf happened? It used to be classy, now it's hideous.

Ishukone ships looks like luxury vessels not as military ship .... not good texture What?

Just going to throw this out there.


New Ishukone still looks better than anything the Minmatar have managed to produce (save their capitals) in the entire run they've had in EVE.

The new crane is also worse than the old one.
I like the old one because it has red color on the edge of structure, new one doesn't.

I think all the new Kalaakiota ships look bad ass, but maybe that's just me :3

Agreed that although camo is useless in space, it looked much better than this new texture. Please review this change
