It was infinitely worse last year, when you could speed tank offensive plexes with a 2 day old alt.
Until FW matters to the rest of EvE, it will be nothing more than a haven for pirates, frig gangs and alts farming lp.
CCP should never have provided highsec routes between factions, FW should have been instrumental in controlling safe lanes thru the lowsec regions and in return receive isk (tolls) from those who use the route and lp for controlling a route.

Yeah. I killed one today that was armed, but not only didn't fight back, it didn't even try and target me. Dude needs to work on his bot script.

like ESS put infinte point on the buttons in a 150km range.

And remove the ability to make Isk in plexes unless you kill someone of the opposite faction.

And for god sake to put an end to this F.. pendulum put NPC buy orders on items of FW , so the higher your tier the higher the income.

CCP it's time to remove Off Grid Boost and Put Them on Killmail too, add Logi on killmails .... Open that damn door !!

1. Disable stabs in plexes
2. Make cloaking cause heat damage in plexes (or just disable it too)

80% of FW problems solved. There's still plenty of easy money running missions, which actually involve minimal danger yet require you to actually play the game.

Well, even if this its true, and I think it´s not; they have been warned many times by players, so I think it's just another abandon and broken feature. Sadly if there is not a great amount of high sec/null sec players angry it seems that it´s not a priority.

So instead of making the FW minigame more interesting to play, you just want to impose hard script mechanics to the whole thing?

When I dabbled in FW a time back, I didn't really know what to expect, I guess I expected that militia from the OTHER side would come in and get me, but instead just found the same 5-10 name low sec pirates roaming plex to plex killing frigs entering the FW zones, and since now they added my name to the list, I had a couple that came after me everytime my name appeared in local.

Yes, I'm fully aware that "EVE is working as intended". As an extreme example, if FW was it's own battleground, and had accelleration gates that stopped any ships other then militia ships passing through "... for your own safety yada yada" so the only ships in there where FW related, that would make more sense to me.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

Well I feel it's a waste of my time if I'm trying to get 15k LP for flipping a plex, and you show up and kill me with only 1 minute remaining.

Why should your time be the governing aspect of interaction? why should your time be more important than mine?

You don't approve of how I choose to play the game? Well then . . . . Let me tell you some things about how you play the game I do not agree with.

lets go down that path, preaching to others how we feel things should be. Changing the game to suit how we want.

You can't account for every circumstance, so don't try to with generalized absolutes.

Clicked on the thread expecting intelligent discussions regarding the current flaws in FW, after reading the OPs post, realised my initial thoughts were incorrect. Plex farmers are not a problem, they are easy to scare away or kill, don't earn that much isk, and it is also tedious work.

The real problem is that FW pilots can have alts jump from militia to opposing militia with little or no consequence. It is very common to see pilots with alts in both militia's at once. And that is not mentioning how easy it still is to AWOX your own militia.

Don't think this is necessarily the complaint here - these guys get caught just fine a lot of the time, especially since a great many of them seem to be poorly programmed bots. The fact that there is so much botting is however cause for concern, and as Medalyn just mentioned there are other issues with FW as well, which would take a lot more time to cover. Don't ask me what these issues are as I'm no expert on fac war, but I have definitely heard that particular complaint mentioned quite frequently (as one example.)

There wouldn't be enough lube in existence for the farming circle jerk that would occur if this were the case.

You should be allowed to run away. Sometimes that's prudent.

You should also be penalized for it, if it's the only defense mechanism you ever use.
