So I've decided that this Xmas I am going to pick up presents for most of my long-term associates here in New Eden. The thing is I am a bit stumped on one of them. Most of the folks I know are combat pilots so fancy pirate boats will take care of them. I know enough about their flying habits to get something they will enjoy. But one of my oldest Eve friends is a miner. I know nothing about mining. And he has a multibox mining fleet that is already well-equipped. So what do you get for the miner who has everything? I was thinking a set of harvesters but that seems to be just a silly extravagance. This being the indy forums what would y'all suggest?

I'm not a miner myself, I find it boring atm, but that aside isn't there a T2 mind link for miners being introduced in Crucible? I may be wrong but if there is, it may be an idea.

Get him a set of harvester mining drones or we. he wont use them as they are a bit rubbish, but its the thought that counts.

T2 Mindlinks if/when they come out
Rorq or Orca (if you have that kind of isk)
Maybe a freighter, always handy to have more than one

Or a Freighter Alt. The Freighter's nice but the limitation tends to be the number you can fly at once.

T2 link sounds like the one. Do we have any idea where they are supposed to spawn?

Same place every other T2 Item spawns.

Maybe I am missing something? T2 ships and modules come from invention or BPOs. Most off the T2 command links come from Storyline missions...

CCP Learned it's lesson about T2 BPOs. You're almost there to figure out where new T2 Items come from.

They are invented using the T1 versions BPC. With them being introduced in Crucible the info regarding data cores and such are a little sketchy or people that are on Sisi are just not sharing.

That's all I know about them sadly, I've not gotten into teh whole T2 invention thing besides rigs and some other random stuff. Hope this helps you out a tad.
