How do you know the capacitor status of your enemy?

I do love that there always seems to be something new to learn or try in eve.

I enjoyed the Rooks and Kings v AHARM splash-screen video very much and was intrigued with the FC receiving reports from his neuter pilot (?bhalgorn) concerning the status of the enemy ship capacitors. A comment from the neuter pilot suggested to me that he was referring to a log somewhere to get this info ... I'm guessing he was checking some sort of combat log looking for 0 capacitor reduction of the enemy with a cycle of the neut, indicating they were empty.

Is someone able to explain / confirm how he was doing this?

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Yes, the ship scanner will tell you how much capacitor is left on the target. It doesn't cause aggression so you can try that out on anyone see.

Also watch the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ2BTr6sI6c, its Rnk and the pilot, linkleo uses bhaalgorn and ship scanners to neut 3 dreads and keep them dry till the end.

OK i did not know you could do that, How exactly do you use the ships scanner to see the enemy ships capacitor? Do I have to lock him?

And that's was a really sick vid
