Two ridiculous ideas

1) Jump drive change: When jumping to a cyno beacon, you no longer land within 5km. Instead you land within E-Warp range, with current E-Warp protection mechanics (since that erebus exploit), then warp to the beacon.

2) Hi-sec refining Queue: Just like manufacturing/research have slots and time requirements, add this to refining/reprocessing! This would only affect high sec, or perhaps low-sec would get tons more slots.

Didn't Casey strike out in that story?


I have no opinion on the cyno. The HS refining que would be incredibly annoying. I'm not sure what it would add?

Why would you add a queue to something thats basicly instant ?

Competition. All things should come at a price, Particularly in Eve. Refining is right now "Free" and it would add another dynamic for players to engage against eachother should there be queues and times required to convert rocks and scrap to minerals.

Right now, you see competition in the manufacturing/research queues near trade hubs. This drives peoples (insane) to develop their own solutions such as research POS's. Putting assets out in space, like a POS, allows for conflict to arise.

And yes, casey does strike out. Too bad I couldn't get a cartoonishly large chin in the avatar creator.

That's just silly. There is a price, there is material waste depending on the skills... I dont use these features much, but this seems like some kind of economic warfare thing to further restrict highsec / lowsec production and competition.

Surely, there's no way your in game character represents anything about your real life self.
