Greetings,

I am planning to run Missions in Null sec for the pirate factions, and i've figured out how i can do Level 1's and 2's relatively safe. What on earth do i need to run Level 3's and 4's, solo. I mean true solo, no scout available and such.

I've been thinking of a T3 ship, but i wouldn't know where to start, which one to choose and fitting wise..

I hope some people can help me with this! :)

Thanks in advance!

exit station with covops / nullifier to insta warp bm, gate like that, refit in space off a mobile depot to combat fit in the target system. In all honesty, not sure I see the point, if you have a T3, you can do the local complexes, and that means you can move to and work any system that is fully empty, which is more flexible than being stuck with particular task in particular system and a known return to a particular station all the time.

A boring old ded 7, has a roll at the faction cruiser loot table (inc lg implants), a roll at the battleship faction loot table (inc highgrade implants), and then a roll at the c-type battleship deadspace loot table, and the last roll also has faction spaceship bpcs on the loot table, and a 99% chance or so of the overseer box being there.

Are we talking about the static complexes or the one you need to scan down?

And i figured running level 4's was easier. :P

The thing about running missions for pirates in NPC Nullsec space (I've been living in fountain) are the locals so my advice is to join them so you can decrease the possibility of getting scanned down and blownup (This is the risk you take).

I'm no expert on T3 ship so here is a usefull article I found http://themittani.com/features/tech-3-cruisers-reality-check

It contains information about the ships including fittings :-) Hope this helps.

Yeah, those aren't missions.

OP, you need a tech 3 ship with covert sub and offensive sub, and a mobile depot to switch your fit once you get to the mission location.

When I used to run Angels missions in Curse I used a tengu. Depending on the situation, mainly whether I had to move to other systems for the mission, I’d either use a basic PvE (6-launcher) fit or a gimped covops-nulli-5-launcher fit.
This was pre-Tengu/HML nerf, but I expect the tengu is still not too terribad for this purpose.

The missions themselves were much the same as in hi/low, altho the lvl4 DED blockade has the potential to dish out some awesome DPS if you messup the triggers.
The increased-fun aspect of these missions is their nullsec location and the number of other people who are trying to find and kill you while you’re trying to complete the mission, or travelling to and from the mission location. That part of the deal requires care, patience, knowledge, and effort on your part … and is greatly aided by also having a decent collection of perch and instawarp bookmarks.

p.s. My experience was also a longtime prior to those new mobile refitting anchorables, but they sound like a real asset for the nullbears.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

First of all, thanks everyone for replying, it's a tremendous help.

It seems the most logical choice is a Tengu with a nulli-covops for travel and a mobile depot to re-fit on site.

At least, that's what i gather out of these posts. :P

I'll try to think something up i geuss.

Does anyone also happen to have a few idea's for possible fits?

Thanks!

Switch out the Kin/Therm for rat specific hardners. With 5% hardwirings it does over 1,000 dps and tanks almost 1,500 dps.

I used to run rigor/flare rigs but in the higher end plexes you will need to run you shield booster non stop. If you are running missions you could probably switch out the rigs.

Not today spaghetti.
