Hello all! This is x-post from My EVE. Not sure where this fits since it's very wormhole specific.

What's it all about?

I'm usually a high-sec carebear with very little PVP experience. I started exploring the wormholes in order to try something new and I'm having loads of fun. With my blog I am documenting my adventures.

Why should you read it?

I'd like to think my blog could be useful to someone new to wormholes. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes and my journey?

And for the veteran wormhole explorers and PVP-ers my blog is probably a comical source of entertainment as you can laugh at my silly exploits!

Feel free to drop by:

In my latest adventure I find a strange wormhole nomad, end up stalking him for hours and disposing his fleet of ships.

Thanks!

I enjoyed reading the two post you put up so far. Giving my support and hope your blog gets more people into trying out wormholes. And you shouldnt have sent him 50 mill. You should recruit him and bring him along on you adventures ;)

I, too think it's great to see the 'small average guy' exploring wormholes, usually you only hear about the big fights/events (SYJ recently). I can only encourage you to continue doing solo explorations, about 9 months ago I was also a highsec carebear and now I don't want to do anything else but small scale wh pvp. It also seems you enjoy creeping up on people as much as I do. I will definetely monitor your Blog in the future.

That's an interesting and very well written story, and it touches on something that pisses me off no end - in EvE as well as other games and forms of online activity.

There are a lot of good reasons to engage in PvP and warfare in EvE; for profit, for power, for the thrill of the fight; self-defense or just plain bragging rights / e-peen stroking; even killboard whorin. I can understand (though not necessarily relate to) most of them.

But it's when people destroy others fun for no reason at all, without giving much thought to *what* they are doing and *why* they are doing it, seems just somehow sad and depressing to me.

At least you were able to stop mid-way and realize what you were doing is not necessarily what you really want to or, as a matter fact, enjoy doing; kudos to you.

Don't take this as a criticism, let's just say it's all a part of human psychology and make-up that I don't like that much at all, and which all too often manifests itself IRL as well; that's a topic for a different forum tho.

Nice story, I've bookmarked your blog and hope you keep on posting.

Once that guy gets an orca alt, he will love the nomad life.

Good stuff. At heart I am a WH diver too. Not much for arranged fights and large fleets. Your stories are similar to mine. My sentences are short. Will read again!

Also, regarding warp core stabilizers, I have a 3 scram nemesis for just such an occasion where you know your opponent might be stabbed and you don't expect them to fight back. It will even stop the now standard PI running full stabbed epithal. Anyway, with cloakie ships YOU dictate range so go scram.

+1 Good read, keep it up. Also, +1 on killing him, adds to the "immersion". Lol. And recruit that guy, he would be a fun one to have in corp. Big smile
