Export all window and option settings to XML format file

After two patches that nuked all of our window settings, it would be a great option export all window and option settings to an XML file much like we can with Overview settings, to avoid the inconvenience of re-setting this up YET AGAIN.

It would also make things easier to preserve settings among multiple accounts and boxes for those who multi-account and/or multi-box their EVE (I sometimes have 2 accounts logged in at once).

The files are currently saved in a binary file that we can't do much with, but an XML or JSON file is easy enough to edit, if we want to remove some minor settings (for instance if we want to run our main gaming box on all High settings and a laptop on Low settings. Currently we can't edit the .dat file that contains our settings to make the changes required to not bring the laptop to a halt, but it would be easy enough to edit the XML/JSON/etc file for the laptop-specific settings.

It would go under the "long over due additions to the game" section of the patch.

A much needed feature.

If you're gonna post here thinking your idea is the greatest thing since bacon and that it will save EVE and possibly all humankind with it, you're gonna have a bad time.

Getting your UI defaulted is like a punch to the gut, on new SiSi build we cant even copy our old UI from TQ, windows colors and positions are reset. Hope this doesn't go live :)

This forum doesn't always get good ideas, but when it does, I like to +1 it.

All warfare is based on deception and logistics. Battles and soldiers are secondary priorities.

This one is a must, and should have happened when we were given the option to export the overview

Good idea.

I suggested something else, a keyboard with tabletsize touchscreens for overview etc.
Maybe the export should also be able to be stored there, or multiple for that matter.

Well bots are another issue entirely. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Yes to this. +1.
