EVE Mac Download

So I'm downloading EVE on my mac right now, and it's going ridiculously slow. It's not even downloading the launcher client either, it's just the straight full 7.7gb client. Is there some kind of torrent I can use to download this instead of downloading at 300kbs for 6 hours?

Update1: I enabled my VPN and it's downloading at the speed I assumed it was going to download at.

Update2: When I download the 7.75gb file, my mac tells me that the file is damaged. I downloaded it again without the vpn with no interruptions since it wasn't being throttled at night and same problem arose. Any clues?

Nothing to do with your mac

PC took me an hour for 2 clients

But the best ships are Spaceships

Space is big. Takes time to download space.

I always have the same issue on my Mac, but even that seems faster than my Windows based desktop.

I always put it down to the internet connection rather than the operating system though. Australia's a long way from the servers in the UK, so just always thought it was associated with that, even with caching.

Some ISPs will throttle enormous downloads. If I have to do a full client download, I usually set it to run overnight, or while I'm at work. Just like old times.

nb: EVE and torrents don't get along very well.

I didn't think about it that way, I guess I can just go yell at my ISP and they still won't give a dam.

Edit: I enabled my VPN and it's downloading at the speed I assumed it was going to download at, thanks for the tip.

Edit: And now it randomly works? k
