i think the armageddon looks fine. what do you not like about it/ what do you think should change? (genuinely curious)


The armageddon isn't a bad model, don't get me wrong, i personally just don't think it is beefy enough to be an armor battleship. it seems so fragile to me.

No! Don't you touch my Typhoon. The scorpion was the first victim and now with the crucifier being the latest it feels they are trying to remove the asymmetry from a lot of these ships. There is nothing wrong with the typhoon it's an old matar warship, it is supposed to look like that.

Also, bring back the old scorpion model for -something-

What's wrong with the new Scorpion? I'd also like the see the oft-rumoured skin/color reassignment that's been hinted at...

While this is true, the Typhoon and some of the other battleships do need some work. Maybe they're working their way down after Marauders...

I'm a huge minmatar ship fan, its mainly what i fly to be honest, and i agree with the fact that the typhoon is an old uprising era warship, and because of that it looks fantastic. but name one major world power that hasnt upgraded their warships over time. the Typhoon is great for a shabbily thrown together rebel ship, but it's time for an upgrade.

Also, they don't have to make it symmetrical when it is updated.

Nice shape. However, improved aerodynamics are not a requirement in space. I much more prefer the present pretty convincing racial styled Typhoon & Dominix since those do much more appeal to my imagination of giant futuristic in space assembled battleships. So +1 (....for EVE Arts Dept., that is).

And no,the Typhoon by no means resembles some 'flying cigar' (...well...maybe if one looks at it with VGA res. 640 x 480..but I would not knowLol)

They have totally uninteresting even banal design ("hey let's make it look like RL scorpion!"), unlike old asymmetrical models. Yes, old Scorpion was considered as fugly by many players, but usually those people also don't like 80% other ships in EVE ("Minmatar ships are junk", "Remodel Gila, make it as your typical generic Star Citizen ship" etc). Caldari ships designed for functionality, not for beauty contests.

The Typhoon would an interesting design to turn into a Battleship Class drone carrier. Upgrade to Dominix specs and add more wingy bits to the new version from Deviant Art and it would be a winner.
