Dreadnaughts leaving C3?

Apologies if this is common knowledge/answered elsewhere (I googled this to no avail), but if I produce a dreadnaught inside a C3, can I move it out via a C5 connection?

Nope, if you make a capital in any C1-4 system its stuck there until SD'd. (The max jump mass is always decided by the lowest side of the connection).
