Hi, after a few days of suicide ganking my sec status has dropped quite a lot. Its tolerable, but I want to know how quickly I could grind it up belt ratting in null.

How much sec will a 1 mill isk bounty rat give me?

It takes ages.
It is a tiny amount.
Luckily it updates every 6 minutes now and chaining systems makes no difference any more. Highest bounty rat in last 6 mins is what counts.
Your options are:
belt ratting (utterly pointless unless you are looking for an officer and are in an area that spawn them).
Missioning. Easy and the LP is worth a fair bit if you pick the right corp.
Null exploration. My personal favourite. You get the rats and an income and it is more entertaining than missions.
Kill the "clone" ships in low sec for tags to repair sec.
Buy tags from people that kill "clone" ships.
If you go the null exploration route you can lower the rate of sec increase but increase income by ambushing Tengus running sites and adding the loot drops from the players to your haul. You get no sec loss in null and you can then finish the site for sec and drops. Having a vague idea who you are from a mutual friend i suspect this last version is what you will enjoy most.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

Let me know if you take that last option Tear Jar. I need to grid sec status, and would love to have some fun doing it.

Clone soldier ships in lowsec provide a larger increase in sec status and drop tags to buy your way to legitimate citizen status.

Must admit though, I just spend the ISK to buy and use the tags.

Ratting is so boring and I have better things to do with my game time. Killing players is much more enjoyable than killing NPCs.

Do they provide more of a sec increase than battleship NPCs? I need to test this.

Yes.

Have tested it, you get significantly more sec buff, and have high bounty payout. And then you get the tag.

Ridiculously easy to kill, as well.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

We can all go together! I was going to suggest tags, but then I looked at his sec status. It is far cheaper to go from -10 to -5 than -5 to zero. It's no big deal once in awhile, but buying tags on a daily basis or so adds up.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.
