Official EVE & Valkyrie player gathering – London, March 7th

We are happy to announce a player gathering taking place in the well-known Goodman’s Field pub near the Tower of London.

I'll be there, along with my trusty steed CCP Xhagen from EVE Development. Our bros CCP Duchess (Lead Game Designer) and CCP Masheen (UX Designer) from Valkyrie Development will come down from Newcastle with Oculus Rifts to let you try Valkyrie for yourselves! Note that time constraints will limit the number of demos so don’t be late.

We’ll start at 6 pm and stay until closing time.

And since it’s UFC weekend in London and our very own Gunnar Nelson is fighting on the main card in the O2 Arena the following day, a lucky player will win the golden ticket to come watch the fight with the devs, cage-side of course.

We look forward to seeing you all in her majesty’s hometown!

Good call! Player gatherings are a ton of fun and everyone is really friendly to first timers especially. It gives you a whole new feel for the game to have met a bunch of players face to face.

Oh it's moving forward! Maybe you can pump the devs for some info at the gathering, if they prove too resilient it won't be too long until we release more info ;)

Right I'm in, if only so I can do shots with Guard.
