I am on a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro Retina OSX 10.8.5.

All day yesterday after Rubicon 1.2 update, I was running two copies of the client just fine.

This morning when I attempt to login, that goes ok, I then click play on the launcher, and it launches the client. When the client comes up, I get notified I have an incompatible build, do I want to download the 12.5MB update? I say yes.

Then I get a popup dialog telling me the build didn't verify, do I want to download again. I click yes.

Then I get another popup dialog:

When I click yes, the client goes away, and no new webpage is loaded.


This has happened twice.

Shutdown the eve launcher (which I had running since yesterday), and restarts the launcher, now I am able to login and play.

I have noticed on Windows that when new builds download, sometimes they wouldn't get installed properly if the launcher was still open. The install of updates knows how to close down the client, but it doesn't know how to close the launcher. The symptom is the patch update would complain about locked files, or that it couldn't update something.
