Will corp BM creation be coming to the right click menu before launch?

I hope not, the right click menu needs less items, not more.

Where are the FW changes we were promised?

You know, the ones that were going to be part of the winter expansion?

who said that?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

After seeing all the tomfoolery going on with Carriers, Dreads & Supers in the CA areas against smaller targets, I foresee a lot more issues arising than the supposedly "tweaks" these ships were given to "balance" things out Roll

Goddamn double posts. A forum fix would be nice with this release, to be honest.

I want to make it clear that this is not a final list. As we go through design and implementation phases some things may require more work than initially expected and others may not hold water in the design phase and therefore may not make it into this particular expansion.

Goddamn there's some ungrateful mother ******* ITT.

I wanted changes to assfrigs. It got pushed back. I didn't **** on the release because of it - **** no, it's going to be an amazing expansion. I'm sorry that your pet interest (much like mine) didn't get love this time round, here's hoping for next time.

It's not ungrateful to ask CCP to deliver on something they said they'd deliver on.

I am completely happy with them releasing whatever they got atm instead of waiting for every other feature finished as well (like assault frigs, sov and FW changes). Waiting for them would only result in a mega-patch with probably much more fallout.

As for delaying it a month to polish things, while it's generally a good thing, you have to consider that we are getting close to holidays. I remember a major patch which somehow sorted itself to be released just before Christmas and the result was that we couldn't play between Xmas and New Year's and CCP also worked their asses off to get the game into a playable state... if it was up to me, I wouldn't risk it.

While there is always stuff to polish, I think the expansion is in a good enough state to be released. As for the assault frigs and factional warfare, I am looking forward to the post-Crucible dev blogs, I hope they just pushed those changes back and we'll see them in a spring expansion.

If ccp does not abandon these features but continues to work on them later, I am all for releasing what they have, changes to hybrids did not sort everything, but now hybrids are workable and t2 drones modules are sweet, as well as many UI improvements. However if CCP is going to leave what they have release for another 4 ywears and go working on ramoes-on-planets or elsewhat random, i would prefer to see them in a more of a polished state.

still too miny bugs...
releaseing it now may end up running off some players.
but its your game...
on the test server i dont mind dealing with the bugs. the test server is more fun for me. :)
no pirates...lol
cheap prices... so on.
but the others will not see it that way on tq server.
but its your risk to take.
myself i love to have an offline ver of the game. :)
but i know thats wishful thinking...lol

I'm predicting a large backlash (on GD) for the UI when this hits TQ - specifically the new fonts "viewability" and the lock windows when pinned. Haven't been on long enough on SISI to note other things.

On a positive note, the general UI responsiveness definitely feels significantly faster than whats on TQ right now. System to system transition, docking/undocking feels a lot faster - though I'm unsure whether this is attributed to hardware or code changes ... or both.

The windows locking thing is going to set a few people off.

I'd also make a note when installing to suggest people upgrade graphics drivers.

I'd agree, had upgrading drivers not also caused some graphical issues...

So you basically want them to hold back on adding everything until drugs are done and ships are set to your preference?

They are not unfinished items. They are non included items. Hence why drugs were backed out which is the extremely correct way of doing it.

Only one thing I would say is when you put patch notes saying "Time Dilation" but then in the description put "Not in this patch". Don't do that to pad out changes. Put the changes in that are going in. Or alternatively have a "Further Crucible Iterations" section where you put this kind of stuff.

Thanks

The freight train is fully loaded with dozens of new features and pretty pictures. It has momentum, and is running down the track.
I predict a "WTF?" thread miles longer than this one, if Crucible is delayed two weeks or a month.
