I'm farming complexes on my faction alt Waffen Werks minding my own business. My ship of choice for this crime, the punisher with 4 low slots its the perfect ship for farming on a 50k skill point alt. Here I am making 800 thousand LP in this system when some hardcore elite pvpers begin to **** up local, I suck at the game for not fighting them with 50k skill points apparently.

I lose two punishers attempting to cap a large complex, and I manage to cap the complex even with a magnate with 3 warp core scrams waiting for me, I would say the 30k lp I earned put me at a victory, but others would want you to believe they won by wasting over 2 hours chasing me around a system as I capped complexes solo and make close to 200 million isk worth of lp.

I need to learn how to play apparently Roll

Does everyone have to have the exact same reasons as you for having fun in EVE?

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

Their idea of hardcore and winning is hunting a player down, chasing someone, reveling in the thrill of the hunt and playing space bounty hunter.

Your idea of hardcore and winning is flying a stabbed plexer and farming LP.

Diff'rent Strokes for Diff'rent Folks, I suppose.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

CCP still hasn't gotten back to me about my brilliant idea relating to the OPs filthy business. I proposed that anybody who undocks with warp stabs fitted should have "COWARD" printed across their portrait in big yellow letters, right where it says "WANTED" on mine.

I killed you -> i win, you lost
YOU evaded me -> i didn't win, you didn't lose
YOU killed me -> you won

this is simple actually

If you think that gathering LP to make ISK and evading players makes you win take a look to NPC: it's their job to provide players with targets to shoot and bounties for killing them. Are you really up to do their job? Lol

People with more than 1 person in fleet should also have the word chicken **** gang banger written on their pod.

Warp stabs are a legitimate module. Sometimes they're abused, as in OP, but that doesn't make them less relevant.

Not wanting to participate in a 1v3 battle with a fast tackle and his friends does not a coward make.

Earning more isk than lost is called winning in many books.

If ISK is your endgame, yes.

For many people it's not.

All I care about is ISK, without ISK we are just peasants begging for scraps from his lord.

You should look into station trading, then.

You don't even have to undock.

Ever.

Station trading isn't the best way to earn isk

All other isk-earning activities have an isk/hour cap.

For Station Trading, if you do it right, the only limit is the hundreds of maximum orders you can put on the market at one point.

And it only scales up as you invest even more.

agree. but at some point you will find yourself wondering what to do with all the ISK you got. You WILL need to spend it somehow. Doing PVE (and farming LP is PVE) you don't need lots of ISK. To buying PLEX you need only 600 million ISK a month. To run missions you only need to spend ISK once (to buy some pimped carebearmobile). etc, etc, .....

I got to this point after 3 years of playing. Was doing PVE as much as i could. And now i can't force myself to PVE at all Lol

Wish you waste less time than me

If you're bored currently a Dominix, and a Sleipnir are camping the large complex in Covryn, they think shooting at frigates is cool.

You were in a frigate... wasting time on such a small target is not really what "hardcore elite pvpers" do. But then again, why make a post? Who cares if you like thousands of other people do FW plexes with stabs? The fact that you admit to still lose 2 frigates when being so evasive is mostly the embarrasment on your side! Maybe your skillponts doesnt support a cloak?

actually it's not 'shooting at frigates is cool'.

What is 'cool' here:
- time and ISK player spent on buying and fitting this frigate, getting it into this system
- possible tears players post in local after he lost his ship
- possible loot in newly created wreck
- possible implant loss and clone update cost if player wasn't fast enough to save his pod
- LP rewards for killing enemies
- ... ?

Really: you just need to feel it. Once you found yourself in predator role you will see all this story from completely different side.
