Scam or not, i've won a good deal more than i have lost on it, most of which was won with free credit from their awards.
Blink is fun, its a great tie in with EVE, and on top of the lotteries they occasionally have in-game events that rely on skill for the chance to win prizes. the point to remember here is that this was made to make them money, and as long as i continue to enjoy playing and win, a fail to see this as a scam, merely as a way to make money while not scamming eve in local chat. is there really an issue here?

I take issue with people that seem to think Blink is a magical gambling house that pays out more than it rakes in.

I take issue with those persons that do end up +50bn on blink and call it a "way to make money." Persons who think they've gamed the system rather than being pre-selected winners, who then go out and encourage other people to give away their isk. I have known a lot of these people.

I've known persons that have lost all their isk, sold their characters for more isk, and then lost the majority of that, because they were convinced by persons in the above group, or were just plain addicted.

I certainly take issue with CCP giving Blink all 3 stratios emergency responders to distribute at their discretion. Ships easily worth a trillion total.

Lastly, I take issue with Blink getting a free pass on RMT and CCP standing by and doing nothing while they cashed out.

This right here makes me lol. When you lose all your money in eve, it is never anyone's fault but yours. These people should be laughed out the door, not pitied.
