An anchorable meta structure that lets you put other anchorables to it.
So you can have a tracktoring, cyno interdicting, refitting in space enabling superstructure that can be put out in one jettison act.

On a more realistic note I speculate on more rebalancing, more anchorables (maybe a personal POS?), some more steps towards this "rubiconinsation" to hopefully make it a bit clearer, what CCP Seagull mentioned in the Rubicon reveal show.

Does anyone know how she fared? Is the baby healthy? Best wishes from me at this point.

Something will get balanced, the GUI will get some buttons moved, some new deployables will be introduced and we are all set to wait for the winter expansion.

Oh wait, maybe we get more radial menus to make the UI even more like a minefield.

"expansion" is a false term. Just call it a large bugfix from here on out.

I'm glad I'm not paying for my sub with any of my own money. I have had this one going with plex for some time now. I'm not at all convinced that CCP Seagull is actually capable of delivering... anything interesting in any form. So, we'll see. It'll probably just be another boring major bugfix patch with a new ship and maybe some new gfx redone or something to call a feature.

I'm beyond bitter and cynical with EVE and most other MMOs. I can hardly remember the last mmo or expansion I looked forward to for any MMO, EVE included.

I thought she had just delivered something very interesting!

Assuming the summer expansion will hit somewhat around early june, it's "only" ~100 more days to wait for it now! Time to start speculating!

Traditionally it hits around May, if memory serves.

The next expansion will offer just enough to keep some players content while others will tell themselves, "If the next expansion does nothing for me, then I am gone." while lingering in hopes of something for them may just arrive eventually.

Repeat as necessary.

Last year's summer expansion Odyssey was released on June 4th.

I dont know what it's about, however they will completly ignore w-space again, yet will break one of the core w-sapce mechanics at the same time.

Their superb incompetence and total lack of regression tests (and/or someone to read/understand the results of those), will bring fun times to the children of bob/robb/lurchie (choose your own w-space deity here) . Until they fix it half assed, like 3 month later.

I'd expect CCP will want to announce it at Fanfest

You're going to get that. She's laid out a development plan, it's realistic, the deliverables are scheduled at a pace that can be delivered with the resources she has now. I'd like it right now too, but I'll settle for a real plan.

so like over 3 expansions? another 18 month thing?

Actually it's a :36 month: thing, but we're 2 expansions in already.

Malcanis,

I hope when your CSM term is up you can tell us what you really think.

The NDA lasts for 5 years ( I should check if that's 5 years frojm signing or 5 years after the information is revealed to me).

I do make an honest effort to tell people everything I can within the strictures of the NDA. I proably spend more time skirting that line that any other CSM member does, at least in public.

So if I say: Seagull has a plan, and all the CSM believe that it's real, it's deliverable and it's a good one, then I mean precisely that.

Stitcher's Rules of EVE Online #4 - Successful players adapt to the game as it is, rather than whining about the game they want.

My pet feature of course would be EVE on Foot, but I know full well that's unlikely to begin to really materialise until CCP Seagull's grand plan has been realised. That's cool with me. I've been playing EVE for eight and a half years now without burning out, pretty sure whatever shows up next is just going to be the next chapter.

Can I just ask you this?

Does anyone at all at CCP give a **** about the myriad problems with sov, OP power projection, and the homogenisation of nullsec?
