I found some very interesting info on Somer Blink while browsing around. I'm sure a lot of you already know the dangers of Somer Blink, but for those that don't, you should really check out this site.

http://blinkexposed.blogspot.com/

Be sure to check out the links on "Shill Players" and ABSOLUTELY look at the "Explanations" link.

I wouldn't have thought much of it if i hadn't been browsing the winners section for some of the big wins and found a character only 25 days old winning a VERY lucrative blink and thought it odd.

The details you'll find on this site can be easily verified by searching the characters in-game yourself and if you do take a moment to check the details of some of these characters and their winnings on Somer Blink, you'll start to see some STRANGELY lucky new players and just odd facts that seem fortunately coincidental for these "lucky winners".

I'm 105% convinced that Somer Blink is a scam and i simply won't put any money into it and will try to raise awareness of EVE's longest lasting and most convincing ISK scam.

I think most people know that Somer Blink is a rigged game.

But regular players do win a LOT of stuff off of it as well, so I don't think you will be hurting their business anytime soon.

On the bright side though, Somer is helping EvE's inflation rate by keeping his zillions of ISK off the market.

Well, you can't have everyone lose every time. Then nobody would play. But it's obvious that when it comes to the big prizes, the winners are rigged.

The "code" they use to determine winners can be manipulated on their side, which allows them to determine who wins.

This is how they keep making trillions while keeping people believing that they're a legit lottery.

And also, i really don't think most people know it's rigged. I've already spoken to over a dozen people who think it's legit., but in all factuality, it's not.

News Flash: Eve player scams other Eve players for ISK.

No way. I'm really shocked.

I think your about 6 months too late to whip up rage. Tired story is tired.

lol, you're not even a good troll.

The point isn't to "whip up rage" or be shocked that there are scams happening. The point is to raise awareness that it is a scam and deter players who think otherwise from dumping massive amounts of ISK into it thinking they stand a chance because they did the math to think they had the best probability to win.

No and I'm glad for it. You on the other hand aren't a good troll either, but a troll you still are.

This story is both obvious and very, very old and tired. The threadnaughts from just a few months ago are still fresh in everyone's minds.

PS. Just because people have a different view doesn't make them a troll.

This sounds like the typical **** that gamblers and poker players come up with when they lose their money on a game designed to take all of your money with 100% certainty given enough time.

Maybe it's true, but regardless, anyone playing for anything more than a bit of fun needs to seriously re-evaluate their decisions. The prizes are worth less than the total sale price of the tickets, it's a losing game, every time.

I've checked out all the current big winners in Somer Blink. Bloodraven22, Replacement 234 (who is also on the most blinks won AND most achievements), Featious (also on most blinks won and most achievements), Sho Mieyli, and DoomViper.

Most of them look like alts and half of them under a year old. Replacement22, who is under a year old, has a forum post about not having enough isk early on, then all the sudden, is rich via blink.

A lot of just strange looking stuff.

I wonder... How do i sign up to be a Blink shill player?

lol, i knew someone like you would show up and try to tell me i lost all my money to blink and am now butthurt, but as this is not the case, i am just as quick to dismiss you.

It's not even that i have a different opinion than you. You clearly have no opinion, except to come here and say i'm dragging on a worn out topic.

Sure, call me a troll, it's cool, but you can't stop me from trying to raise awareness about Somer Blink. You can only sit there and complain that i'm doing it.

Wait: so you offer this evidence, but when people disagree with you or offer criticism you deadpan them as trolls in a condescending tone?

And I'm supposed to be persuaded by you?

Sorry, but you've already lost me.

So you´re saying, when I gamble with money I will lose money and that the house always wins.

Thanks Captain!

lol, ok first of all, how does one post a message in the form of words without speech... in a condescending tone?

Also, you miss EVERYTHING i'm saying entirely.

I offer you the tools to do your own research. I don't have to convince you of anything, except to rip off the mask of ignorance and investigate for yourself.

If you found undeniable evidence that it's not a scam, then by all means, prove me wrong.

lol, in general, that is quite true, but with Somer Blink, it's more than that.
With these big blinks, people think they can buy a percentage of tickets to increase their probability of winning, when in fact, the code that determines winners are rigged on their side, so you actually just waste a lot of ISK to lose a lottery that by probability, you should have won.

Everyone who reads GD already had a high awareness of issues around SomerBLINK. This has been covered in great depth recently.

So as soon as this thread falls off the first page your attempt to raise awareness will fade and people will have to us the search function to find relevant entries. As soon as they do, your thread will be lost amongst the much more detailed and entertaining threads we had through the recent summer.

So unless you plan to keep this thread on the front page forever, you are doing little to add to the mountain of discussion already present. If you want to drive traffic to your blog, go write something new rather than just rehashing obvious stories with information that is already known and covered in this forum.

I see that you're quite upset with me, lol.

Honestly, i don't care about what you find amusing or entertaining. It doesn't affect you at all to see this thread on the first page and i have no interest in "driving traffic" to my blog.

Again, all you can do is sit there and complain about my presence.
Keep in mind, this isn't about you. It's about all the people who would otherwise be wise in strategically purchasing lottery tickets in order to have probability on their side.
