Hi there

I'm thinking somthing like

Neutrons
Bastion

Prop mod (AB or MJD??)
Rest of mids ?!?!?

Armor rep
Rat hardeners or eanms
Mag stabs
Maybe needs TE's??

Armor rep rig
Hybrid rig

Med//light drones to taste

I'm not at my pc at the moment so can't mess to much with eft.

So any advice to fellow Kronos pilots ?

Any fits to share, wanna keep t2 as much as possible.

Thanks !

A pretty standard rail fit is the following...

[Kronos, L4 Railgun Kronos minimal tank]

Tracking Enhancer II
Tracking Enhancer II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Large Armor Repairer II

Target Painter II
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range Script
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range Script
Large Micro Jump Drive

425mm Railgun II, Federation Navy Antimatter Charge L
425mm Railgun II, Federation Navy Antimatter Charge L
425mm Railgun II, Federation Navy Antimatter Charge L
425mm Railgun II, Federation Navy Antimatter Charge L
Small Tractor Beam II
Small Tractor Beam II
Salvager II
Bastion Module I

Large Auxiliary Nano Pump I
Large Hybrid Burst Aerator II

Tank is enough, but you can drop the last magstab for a membrane or a DC if you like. The TP is also exchangeable with a secondary prop mod, a web or a sebo.

Blaster Kronos is a lot more fun to fly, but a little suboptimal for missioning. You have to burn/jump INTO the spawn, bastion up and proceed to murder everything. If you want to/can stay close though, it melts anything and everything like a knife through butter.

An example:

null vs fn antim
(elite cruiser on pursuit mode)

void vs javelin (BC/BS on orbit mode)

Regarding a fit, there is not much of a difference to the rail variant, you will definitely need a secondary prop mod though. A DS MWD is a good choice here, and you only have to cycle it once or twice to get in range. Don't drop your MJD though, its still very important for jumping towards the enemy (instead of away in a rail ship)

Hope that helps, cheers..C:

Just use both? Kronos has plenty of cargo to carry both a short range blaster and long range rail config plus mobile depot and tons of room to spare.

Refit depending on mission. Heck even some missions the variation per pocket can make it usable to drop a depot while clearing the room, quickly refit for next room etc.

Why waste cargo space when you can change the fitting of your ship before you leave the station? Its no rocket science to remember what NPC prefer long ranges and what short ranges.

Btw, you need to change way more than just the weapons, blaster orientet fitts hardly work with bastion and will loose to MWD based ones everytime in terms of isk/h and lp/h and thats not even counting the missions where you want to loot or are you planing to use the tractor unit as well?

97% of girls would die if Justin Bieber were about to jump off a cliff. Post this in your sig if you`re part of the 3% yelling,

"DO A BARREL ROLL!"

Although I run with rails as well, the odd mission like 'Damsel' or against angels is space-tacular with blasters fit.

Pretty sure there's several mission, particularly 'hard' ones where you face several different factions. It's not a waste of cargo space, what the hell else are you going to be putting in there?

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/

rail kronos is cool because it kills everything from long range without losing any dps to falloff.

Blaster kronos is a uniquely usable blaster platform because of the 50% falloff bonus on the hull. However you'll still be using null most of the time, which is kinda like using jav hams, you wonder what the point is.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

True story ran several missions in a PVP fit Blaster Kronos so long as you have the MJD and null you can murder most anything the key is learning how to effectively use the MJD(also lets you get in super close to use CNanti)

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

If youre going blasters grab a Vindi imo, this bastion blaster stuff is annoying and overrated.
