New Skill: Pretty Ships

I propose having a new skill added to the game:

Pretty Ships - Spaceship Command
Traning time multipiler: 4x
Primary Attribute: Willpower
Secondary Attribute: Memory
Allows the pilot to better maintain the visual appearance of his ship, ensureing his vessel is always looking sharp.

4% bouns to the reflectivness of all shiny ship parts.
5% to the intensity of all ship lights per level.

Becaus I was bored, and want my Damnation's high shine armour panel on the front to look more polished. The idea actually orrignnated in a Amarr Local chat, where I was complaining of the lack of a decent armour tanked missile ship, and then declined the Typhoon because it "Didn't look pretty,' a player jokingly suggested I train 'Pretty Ships V'

Stamped and approved. I need my blinky Caldari ships to be blinkier.

Can we also have a matte/darken option? Lol

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I want nano-black please (this actually exists), which is paint formed from nano-rods that align themselves like brush bristles. They are such a size that no visible light at all gets reflected. When in silent running mode ( no lights etc) a ship with this would appear as a blacker than black vessel shaped hole in space...it would hurt your eyes to try to look at it!

What, no option to add more spinny bits? Or wooshy bits?

And if I train this, will it give my comet back it's police light?

Prehaps it could be a prerequisite for things like 'Pretty Sansha Ships,' and 'Pretty Caldari Ships,' That do things like this?

+1

I'd be happy with just having the option to pick a new paint job for my ships.

I'd be happy if I only had a few, pre-designated options to pick from.

I'd be happy if all I can do is change the color of the headlights to hot pink.

Give me SOMETHING to make my ship stand out from the 250,000 others just like it.

I can imagine some CCP artist pulling his hair out at the idea of how many man hours it would take to add so much generic data to the universe... or how their vision has been undermined. Blink

Just imagine the load times for a system when everyone has non-standard ship appearances.

I like the idea, but the network overhead this would create would be a migraine ready to be served. All gate camps will be required to train this skill to level 5 and bling out their ships to the maximum so as to lag out their victims. Lol

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.

I think AUR should be used for cosmetics on ships just like the character avatars.

Every day in every way I improve my skills and get better.

Is that your running light, or are you just happy to see me?
