Policing of low faction standing

If I go into Amarr territory with an Amarr faction standing of less than -5.0 ...

  1. How long does it take for the police to arrive
  2. Do they scramble

I've googled this and have seen various answers, but I can't tell which answers are definitive as some people are clearly quoting concorde response times (maybe it's the same, I don't know). Also, I asked in the help channel and received 3 or 4 completely different helpful answers!

I've never had faction standings that low. But I have been at -9.9 sec status and accidentally hopped into highsec. If I understand correctly, doing this draws the same faction navy response as you having a bad faction standing.

In which case, they were on me at the gate within a few seconds. I never saw how long it would take them to say... spawn at a belt. And they didn't scram.

Criminals run around highsec regularly with bad standings. You can pass through pretty easily, but you can't hang around and actually do anything.

I have absurdly low Amarr standings and they do indeed meet you at the gate, but I have never been scrammed or webbed. Then again I didn't exactly hang around to find out. I don't think stations refuse docking either, but I have never tried.

They give you a nice little dire warning announcement too, which is kind of cool.

I've seen people docking in Jita 4-4 who get the "You are an enemy of the Caldari!" Popup that displays for everyone in the system. At least I assume they are docking. What else could one be doing in Jita?

Been a few years so might be wrong here...

As far as i remember they would not scram you, and they are always at the gates. I honestly dont know if they will move away from the gates or not.

They were also pretty easy to kill if i remember correctly, but this might also have changed.

But, if things havent changed it really wont affect you much as long as you dont use AP, or fly a slow ship (haulers and freighters as an example) but trust me, even if you have fixed your standings you will still freak out whenever the message comes up on the screen when someone else jumps trough at the same time and they have low standing, thinking that your standings somehow got to low again Lol

IIRC they will web you first, then scram you some time later.

The web will actually help you to escape, so if you are attempting to get away you will always get away unless something else interferes.

Confirming Sabriz.

Faction Police web first before they point you.

This isn't bad, as this makes it easier to get in warp to get away from them

Hello everyone and thanks for chipping in. As it didn't look as bad as I thought I took a shuttle into Amarr and docked at a station. I undocked, and after about 30 seconds I started being shot at. It was far lower DPS than that I'd seen from concorde, and as has been pointed out, unless you're AP from gate to gate you wouldn't have a problem, almost any manually pilotted ship should get away (wouldn't try it with an Orca, which criminals use those as their getaway car of choice though!).

I also helped a friend moving his stuff out to lowsec, anything BC or bigger tends to get scrammed before they can warp out on Stations.

As it was only one jump to lowsec, we didnt test it on the gate. But as far as undocking in a BC/BS/Hauler, I would not advice it with faction police outside. (This was in a 0.5 system too).

Edit: Terrible spelling.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

I've heard rumors of a freighter pilot who intentionally had trashed his faction standings because those webs would help him enter warp faster. Not sure how accurate those rumors are, but I believe it to be possible.

While I've never had bad faction standings, I have been in FW, which will also make you hunted by the faction navy. As long as you don't linger I've never had any problem. The dps isn't that bad either. (It can be tanked by spider-tanking battleships.) Note that they will also hunt you everywhere - I once lost a Rupture when trying to do a mission in enemy space, as the faction navy did enter the mission area and I only realized too late what was happening.

So, you can travel & dock easily enough in enemy space, but don't try to do anything else on your own.

I have found the Amarr Navy hates me. Doing missions in the Sisters of Eve, grinding LP before the expansion and killing a few towers and faction ships did it in for me. -5.91. Oh well.

Jumping gate to gate in high sec hasn't been an issue. Now admittedly I haven't tried it with a Freighter, but I did inadvertently drift in with a scan ship, and started taking fire. It wasn't a big deal, once I figured out my mistake, I warped to the gate and back to normal non-fanatical, slave free space.

Any how, you have about 30 seconds before they warp into range. You are targeted immediately upon entering the system so you won't be able to cloak. Welcome to the sins of your youth club.

This is a thing everyone should take notice of, when in pvp land point first. web later.
