afk ratting is dead.

for this kind of thing its isthar or GTFO. With its tiny drone bay, short lock range, and lack of bonuses, the vexor navy only exists as a low-sp alternative that becomes inferior the second you can sit in an ishtar. The vexor is slightly less inferior in a heavy drone setup.

I've tested this with 4x ddas and a t2 sentry rig for 817 dps and it can basically run any anomaly warping in at 70km and dropping a MD. VS angels or em-shooting enemies, your resists aren't as perfect but you can easily scale back on the heavily penalized damage mods in exchange for a sufficient tank. You can use a dominix but there's little reason to.

I tested this on sisi and it will clear serp sanctums without any drone aggro or dipping below 95% shields. I imagine a similar setup works everywhere.

As usually, with either setup, the less attention you pay the more likely you'll die. These ships require little management and are effective for multitasking but if you go afk for more than 40 seconds you might have issues. Choosing the correct target is still important to do. If you expect to alt tab and come back 20 minutes later to a pile of isk and wrecks then you're foolish, because drones will consistently target the wrong things or fail to aggro, or they'll take aggro or someone will kill you. I don't consider it any less afk than any other sniper or speedtank setup that has good damage projection.
