Forgive me if this is a FAQ, but some searching around didn't yield anything recent.

What's the status on CCP's plans to require developers to buy a license to provide EVE-related services? I was considering providing a small-scale service around some projects I've been working on for myself, and I just want to know whether to bother spending the time on it.

Word to the API devs/legal department, there's a TON of eve players waiting on this. 3rd party will increase exponentially, and the more convenience us 3rd devs brings to the player, the more of the trial player base will be retained.

Attention In a business sense, this should be a top priority if CCP wants to reach escape velocity with its subscribers. Seriously, support us more so players feel more connected to the game through 3rd party stuff like phone apps.Attention

I'm a patient guy, but a realistic timetable would be nice.

FYI, I asked the same question in Sell Orders and was told to open a petition. Opened one last week but haven't received a reply as yet.

I am waiting on that too. I have an idea for a tool that could prove lucrative(in ISK) and am waiting to hear more about the 3rd party developer license.

CCP, c'mon....anything is better than nothing. :D

Keeping us in the dark is causing market instability.
