It's going to be hard for anybody else in the 2014 Darwin Awards competition to top that one. The results were just to spectacular. Other competitors might as well just give up. Unfortunately, competing in the Darwin Awards isn't optional, it's something everybody has to do every day. Smile

hardly qualified for Darwin Award if they are planning to kill themselves. (Darwin Award rule is that if person plan to commit suicide then it is not Darwin Award) Grant it come early than what they plan to.

however I remember there is one Darwin Award where 2 terrorist who don't plan to do Suicide attack, instead plan to drop Truck with timer bomb. However they forget about daylight saving which cause bomb to blow up 1 hour early than schedule while in transport.

It perfectly qualifies. During the time period of the specific incident, suicide was not their intention at all.

The future possibility of suicide, which may or may not ever have actually happened, is irrelevant to this incident which did indeed occur.

They were essentially victims of murder, with the instructor being the Darwin Award winner for his ineptitude.

It might be a new category of nut case-- suicide bomber who's not a terrorist. He doesn't have an political agenda, he doesn't want any victims, he just wants to blow himself up.
