Important difference.

Carrier is a ship in Eve that launches fighters.

I think you meant career, which is like a job or a pursuit of a goal, like becomming a fleet commander.

Sorry to start your awesome thread with a gentle troll, but this is Eve forums after all. Good luck.

You typed way too much. It might be a decent story, but it's a bad battle report. It only needs to mention what was done, why it was done, and strategy. Stuff like anecdotes of newbies being newbies isn't useful. The entire first half of your report can essentially be boiled down into "Frigate fleet comprising X Y ships in Z doctrine found nothing, reshipping to C cruisers got us a fight in Rams where..."

It's a nice report of what happened, but I believe a battle report should also tell what went wrong, what went right, and what to learn from the engagement(s).

My post-fleet questions I ask myself when FCing:

1. Did at least half of my fleet die? If the answer is yes, op success.
2. Did I, as FC, die? If the answer is yes, op was definitely a success.

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

i do not agree, most boring part of EVE pvp is to get and fit new ships, i prefer to use that time on pvp too so losing ships is not always the best option.

It is better to have loved and lost a fitted ship than never have fitted one at all.

If you had fun regardless of what happened, then it was an op success.
