Podding is immoral. It should not be done. Every Eve pilot deserves and escape route. It's called an ESCAPE pod for a reason. It should be an exploit to even lock a pod. CCP should change the name or give 30 day bans to folks that blow up ESCAPE pods. This really doesn't even need to be discussed.

Well its called a capsule, not escape pod, so fortunately it is completely moral to blow up capsules. If they ever rename us "Escape Pod-eers" I of course will bow to your supreme logic.

Pod them! Sometimes their pod is worth way more than their ship.

Never not shoot pods.

I personally leave them alive. I'm in it for the profit, and capsules don't drop any loot. I have no practical reason to kill their clone too.

You forgot to write "I will personally leave them alive." The way you wrote it, inclined that you have actually killed someone, and a quick search shows that you got 0 kills in pvp and 13 losses.

Anyway, to answer your question. I always pod.

Its not an exploit, if the game lets you do it...

The funny part is that D400 pod kills in High-sec. Most if not all of his pod kills are HS.

The sad part is the misconception that High-sec is safe. It's not; it's only less dangerous than Low-sec because Concord hinders shooting something just because it's there. High-sec attackers will have a reason to shoot their target, because of Concord's infallible response. Sometimes it's an economic reason, as with freighter ganks like Burn Jita, or it could be an ideological purpose like the New Order crusade. Then there's strategic ganking, such as if Miniluv spots a known freighter alt of a N3/PL character during the current war, wherein the gank is to prevent the enemy from getting those resources. Whatever the reason aggressors may have, you can die in High-sec, and they see to it. They just have to play around High-sec's aggression mechanics or sacrifice ships or isk to Concord to do so.

I've been podded in Low, Null, and WH space. Generally, the guys who pod you are pretty cool if you are civil in communications with them afterward. This is especially true where newbies are concerned, as the Low-sec guys who got me when I was new taught me about various things pertaining to PVP combat.

As for OP, when I get a ship kill, it will depend on the circumstances as to whether I spare, ransom, or burn the pod. If I blow up a ship that belongs to a guy who previously podded me, I will try to pod him for revenge. Nothing personal against my killers; it's just how EVE is supposed to work - you kill me, I kill you. Likewise, I'd fully expect my targets to come after me later on.

Yo qizza. I haven't changed. I just get some giggles out of folks that fall for my trolls. I have more pod kills than most of these guys have kills. They just too lazy to do a basic kb check before they go all tough guy on me. They keep putting HTFU. I don't know what that means and they won't tell me. It sounds bad though.

I ransom ships and pods. If they don't pay they blow up.
