Hi,

want to buy a new IMac. Thinking of buying the version with the GTX775M 2GB Nvidia Card (3,4Ghz i5 CPU 8GB RAM). What can I expect with regards to graphics settings within eve online? What do you think of the GT750M 1GB Nvidia Card with respect to eve? I only play eve online so other games are not relevant.

Thanks for any comment,

Hmm ok no comments so far. Maybe I should rephrase my question.

Does anyone own an IMac with a GTX775 Nvidia Card? If so, what experiences with graphics settings do you have in eve? For example, can I set shader to high? Or Do you use Anti aliasing?

Thx for comments,

If you can afford Fusiondrive (or simply the SSD Option) + the 775M then buy it.

I did it and i dont regret it.

Ok I bought my new IMac and wanted to share my experiences:

3,4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Turbo Boost 3,8 GHz
8 GB Arbeitsspeicher (2x 4 GB)
1 TB FusionDrive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M with
2 GB Video RAM

I mostly do small-scale lowsec pvp so with respect to this I can set all settings to high even including Anti-Aliasing and I end up with 60 FPS. Iam pretty sure I have to adjust in Large-Fleet operations, but still very good in comparison to my 2010 IMac.

I also had the impression that anti-aliasing actually did not influence my average FPS, but thats probably because Iam mostly doing small-scale pvp.

Cheers,
