https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/105047/hi-eve-friends

I have officially announced on the Star Citizen forums that I will be bringing all of joys of Eve to their universe as well.

Please join me in this noble quest as we remind everyone who rage quit Eve that we are bringing the sandbox with us.

*UPDATE*

I suppose I should update here that we have a Star Citizen corporation for Eve players.

https://robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/JITA

Applicants must have an active Eve Online account to join.

If you bang the drum loud enough, I'm sure they'll *unironically make up a stretch goal for funding for a scam module, and extract a million real dollars out of people in return for lifetime scam insurance.

Ooooh! They have a General Chat forum!

I wonder what their position on trolling is.....

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

As I was responding, the SC trolls seemed to get all mad and locked the thread.

There was so much idiocy being spewed...

Anyway, what I was going to say (other than responding to their ridiculous comments) is that I foresee Monk will have a long and prosperous employment history.

Big smile

It was unfortunate. It appears that the miners there have dreams of AFK mining and instancing...and security entitlement is already running rampant. Im afraid the madness has gripped them all before the act of mining can even start.

It appears that Star Citizen, and its forums, are in need of my services.

Did you see they called us names for not giving the developers lots of money for a game not even out yet?

We are "grays." Sounds racist.

I fully intend to make my credits in the game itself instead of paying $10,000 or so like those internet spaceship experts they have over there lol

You would never find the Eve community placing such labels on people. What kind of filthy highsec carebear publord would call someone a 'gray'.

For shame SC...for shame.

Trolling the competition is so nineties. But then so is getting people to photograph themselves in indecent situations for virtual currency.

Never mind. Carry on.

But I will link this thread the next time a bunch of WOWsers decide to do the same thing here and y'all get huffy about it.

Good sir, we were not 'trolling' the competition. We genuinely wanted to say hi and plant our flag upon their forum.

We all know that Star Citizen will kill Eve, just as X:Rebirth did.... so it only makes sense to start spreading goodwill and friendship over there as well before were forced to move there permanently due to shuttered servers.

Good news, you can still all post there. It seems, strangely, that I have been muted from responding in that one particular thread, while all sorts of pay to win trolls can post freely.

I can't wait for the first SC bank, the first credit doubling business, the first corp theft...

.... so many reasons to give it a try during our 15 minute timers. This silliness about about "which" game to play doesn't make sense. This is the primarily confusion I think.

Hey like I said...

someone's gotta start a SC bank, an investment fund, etc...

Should we take bets on how many corps Psychotic Monk gets into within a year or 2?

Just for fun guys, every time you do something naughty in SC, please say "welcome to Eve."

It seemed like a very ... erm ... defensive thread.
