step 1: Resume training

step 2: You must wait 24h AFTER dropping roles before leaving corp. If you had no roles, you may leave immediately (view access to any corp hangar is a role).

Wrong. You can leave a corp at anytime (docked).
Make sure you are docked dude.

I just did it this weekend - you still have to wait 24 hours, with or without roles.

You can quit your corp any time without a 24 hour delay, we changed that around mid last year sometime (I can't remember exactly when).

However being kicked from corp by a director still requires a 24 hour wait if you had roles.

EDIT: Right click yourself -> Quit Corporation (in a sub menu iirc)

WHAAAA??? I totally got the box 2 or 3 days ago saying I had a 24-hour timer before I could quit.

EDIT: Instead of your method, I was in the Corp window while docked, and clicked the "Quit Corp" button on my current corp. That apparently makes a difference?

You are doing it wrong Blink

I did not know this myself and accidently left my old corp without as much as a "goodbye" Lol
Think it took Mr Olerie (my old CEO) about 3 seconds to mail me using a rather colourful way to say "whattafuck??",, heheh

should be the other way around. ceo can kick anytime, you have to wait. esp if your a blood corp theif. but meh, its a start, now let me kick any member, anytime, for any reason, and i'll be happy.

That will never happen. Reason: people were being kicked while in space and being shot by a war target (or better yet, being called primary by a fleet). Result: the person doing the shooting gets CONCORDed. So CCP made it so you must be docked to be kicked or to drop.

But what CCP could do: Make the kick order become a pending order. It gets automatically executed when the person being kicked does one of:
Dock.
Jump (by any means).
Enters warp.
Logs off, including downtime.

I could settle for this. My thing is only the CEO should have the ultimate boot power, and a pending order would be fine with me. Its a bit ridiculous that someone you either a) gave roles to or b) just won't dock up can stay in your corp and wreak havoc. I mean I understand if they timed it and the ceo was at work or something, but if I am there and you are attempting to steal, or awox or whatever I should be able to remove you. not have to keep refreshing member list and hope I catch you once you docked, or wait for you to log off.

This includes stocks. Having to call a vote to remove an inactive player because he/she has some stock is ridiculous too

I did a similar thing. Dropped my roles thinking I was going to change corps and then clicked leave corp and dropped out. It then turns out I didn't need to move anyway.

What would have been 5 years in corp, is now just over a month. Lol

there is a hold over from the old rules still left in the game dialogs. If you drop rolls I think it still tells you have to wait 24 hours. But if you go to the leave corp function it will just kick you right out. The change came with Odyssey and was essentially a reaction to reverse awoxers giving pilots rolls so they couldn't leave corp.

There we go; that explains why everyone thinks I'm wrong, but I totally ran into that dialog.

You should totally go post this in F&I, it'll make the professional awoxers cry but it's a really good idea.
