Stuck on Solar Map

Hi

Was doing a mission and now my map is stuck on "Solar System" and I am unable to get out of it. tried google and read a bunch of stuff but nothing works.

One article said to "click on empty space in the map" to bring up a control panel and go from solar system to the other one, but I click and I am not getting anything, no control panels, nothing.

Tried all keys, looked at the key mapping, don't see anything there.

So how do I switch between solar system and regular map ? Which keys do I press or what do I click ?

Press F10.

Also, when you open the map, the map control panel I think is minimized by default, so you may want to look on the NEOCOM (sidebar) for the icon to bring it up.

Doesn't work.

F10 and the neocon button is exactly and precisely what takes me into the solar map. I need to get out of the solar map into the other default one. There doesn't seem to be any key or button to do that.

Oh oh. I see what you're saying.

If you open the map control panel, you should see a button on the top of that small window that says Star Map. When you go to the Star Map is says Solar System Map. Its the toggle between the two.

OK finally got it thanks to some ingame help.

It was a little arrow hidden at the bottom of the neocon. Extremely unintuitive I don't understand why such a vital function has to be so hidden.

The world map control panel defaults to being open. When you click the minimize button it is closed to the Necom. There are other windows which minimize to the same location if you are looking for something in the future.

not the actual map button in the neocom. you have probably minimized your map control panel. you can bring it up again by clicking it at the lower end of your neocom. the control panel has the button to switch between map modes and to close.
