I wish these worked in highsec. I'd offer lots of trit in cans nearby and watch the miners bump off the sun.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

But it's pretty funny emergent play.

Have you tried it?

From experience of playing around with stars I can confirm it's possible to not get bumped, but it's not *easy*. There some weird things going on, the closer you get. Getting bumped away isn't even the weirdest.

Imagine you hunt down a WT close to the star with probes and realize that you keep warping into one direction over and over and over again. You get 100% scans, but don't warp ontop of it. You always get a bit closer with every scan and you keep warping into the same direction, passing your target every single time (can be seen on overview) without your ship turning around even *once* ! It just kept warping 'forward' !

That's some weird **** going on right there!

There is zero doubt this is an exploit, just like people are dumping them deep deep in anoms.

But the question I have is if the person trying to steal from the ESS can't get at it, how do the nullbears also get at it when their ratting session is done, and want to cash in?

Do they create a warp bookmark 100 km from the ESS, warp to that, then slowboat in?

I suppose they can afford to take 10 tries to get it.

Bugs and exploits should be reported through the proper channels. Bugs should be brought to the attention of CCP by filing a bug report for our Quality Assurance department. When there is an issue that the EVE Online community needs to be aware of, it will be communicated via an official statement from CCP after thorough investigation.
