Wallet History Question

Hello,

I am reading that your wallet history only saves for the past 1 month.

Is there a way to retrieve your wallet history from months, or even years in the past?

Thanks!

I don't think so.

However my workaround is I use EWA (eve wallet aware) and screenshot my monthly trading report.

In my experience its ~3 months or 6-8k journal entries. An easy way to test this is to give your alt 1 isk 6000 times and see when the api shows nothing but this.

Most wallet/market tools will keep a local cache for you forever if the api key and program is run often enough.

CCP keeps your entire wallet record history available to them ( I was told by them), for you on the other hand?

Which would be a wise thing to do as CCP, I guess. But most likely not in a "live" fashion, but with some additional hoops and jumps.

Providing the same amount of data publicly accessible (to players) OTOH, would most likely result in the immediate "meltdown" of the API servers.

EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager.

Is there some kind of software that can store the info about past wallet transactions ? i know some do that , but when they refresh data , they get the newly provided data from API and don't save old transaction history.

Every decent trading tool will save all data that it ever retrieved from the API, because the ability to go through your historical records is fundamental to a successful trading business. For example mine goes back to 2008.
