Can't see why it would be a problem since he will be using a separate account, but if you are in doubt file a support ticket to be 100% sure.

It's fine, theres no issues regarding multiple accounts for the same ip address, just don't do anything ******** like account share.

You can even refer yourself. There are no limits on buddy invites.

This.

There's absolutely no problem running a 'buddy account' on the same IP. You can even run them on the same PC - even simultaneously. Only account sharing is prohibited, so you should not log into your brother's account. But other than that there's no problem.

There are limits on buddy invites, but they are undocumented and your average Jo Punter is unlikely to stumble into them. For example I expect that CCP will take a dim view of people who send themselves many invites for the purpose of having four weeks to train up their suicide ganking pilot, get to very low security status, then abandon the account.

There are people who have used the buddy invite to create many new accounts that are still in use (e.g.: cyno alts, industrial alts). I'm sure CCP really loves these people for their dedication to the game :)

Ultimately, there are limits: you should be safe just as long as you aren't trying to exploit the 21 days of free time for nefarious purposes.

This.

Yes, you can shoot yourself a buddy invite if you need an alt. But make it a habit of making "throwaway" alts and you might get flagged and CCP might want a word with you.

This is what I did with 2 of my accounts. Currently due to RL stuff only using 1 account, but eventually I might reopen one or more of the others.

What are the rewards for the person who refers someone? I've just opened a trial account from a friend who invited me.

You also are prevented from using two clients on the same computer unless both are full accounts, IIRC. There may be workarounds but I'm not sure what CCP thinks of them.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

A. PLEX
B. 30 days of game time on account
C. Pack of ships (IIRC, some destroyers).

Not all are always available, it depends on the method the invitee subscribe.
Also, they only get it when the invitee subscribes, not when he/she activate the trials.

I miss the good old days of activation rewards. It was sooo sweet.
