i don't have any tension or issues with the handful of guys that work where i do. we get along great. cooperate fantastically. it's the other females that i can't stand lol

ok ok, some of the others. there's some i get along with and would even consider friends. then there's those i totally wish i could murder. then there is a third category of those i would love to murder in the workplace...but i get along with fine when not at work lol

Personal issues were kept outside the shop. NO ONE crossed Liz on that issue. Skeery, skeery lady. And because *everyone* was held to the same performance standard (Got a job? Get it done.), there was none of the crap of people hating on the slacker, and the slacker stirring up crap. Also no crap about intra-gender wars over one or more of their peers contributing to the delinquency of someone of the opposite sex.

I took her model forward when I transferred. Magic formula - treat everyone the same, expect everyone to pull their weight, no special privileges for anyone.
Amazing how something so simple works so well. Roll

Also, slightly off topic, to the hardcore feminists complaining in this thread: hardcore feminism is the reason you still get laughed at and aren't taken seriously. Don't complain, prove yourself. You want equality? Make yourself equal.

The people you're talking about aren't real feminists.

I used to work for a *real* feminist. She didn't look or act like you'd expect; She was my LPO - I had Second for the shop.

When a new female got assigned our shop, Liz would grab 'em and take them out to the shop, and show them this 300# (~135kg) roll of linoleum matting, and tell 'em "Move this roll from this side of the shop to the other. By yourself. Be safe. Come see me when you're done." Not an easy task - Lots of equipment in the way, and the overhead rails only went so far. Liz was scary - Every one of 'em figured out a way to do the job.

When the roll was moved, Liz would sit 'em down, hand them a cup of coffee and tell them the point of this simple lesson: "Doesn't matter that you're not as strong as the guys. You still have to do the same work. If you can't do it by being strong, then do it by being smart."

We had no whiners in our shop. No tension between the males and females over work issues. We got stuff done. THAT is how a real feminist works.

(To be honest, I think the only reason that roll of matting was in the shop was so Liz could teach her little lesson - We *never* actually used it)

That is a fantastic story. THAT's how it should be. No mass disruptive rallies that just **** everyone off. I'm completely for equality; for gender, race, whatever else. But stop complaining about thing. DO things.

Well hasn't this thread gone right off the rails.

May as well add my opinion.

I'll try to bang anything that moves. Equally and without prejudice.

Second post on the topic and you are already asking for 'more decency', because someone OMG SAID ANUS. He's been quite polite in his reply, if you ask me.
You know, he could have used way less DECENT words instead of anus.

Also, little reality check for you.
- vast majority of players are adult males
- vast majority of adult males like the features most commonly found on super-models, pornstars or famous actresses
- creating your own ideal female specimen in a virtual setting is entertaining

So, long story short: yes, most males like boobs and will create characters with big boobs (replace boobs with breasts if you are offended).

This doesn't apply to me obviously. I'm a female and I created my pilot to look like myself.
I also play naked, especially in summer and I have a webcam.

25 pages later and no one asks for the webcam ip/http or whatnot?!? Dude there to many femenists here!

Dear EVE Online players,

When I am bored a little bit I often click around and look at the characters you guys have created. One thing according to the female characters is very ... prominent: It seems you guys mostly like big racks and half naked, skinny bodies.

I know that with a probability of 80 to 90% a man created the character. I am not a feminist. I think this a firstly a questions of aesthetics which of course depends on personal views. But I ask myself is this the imagination you have how a woman should be? This is not an attack on you guys. And I do not want to start a discussion of what you all thing is beautiful. I only wanted to show a conspicuity.

I do not tell you what to do. EVE Online is a free game for which you all pay. You can do what you want. I only wanted to give my opinion.

Regards.

Lets see, perfectly reasonably bust size, next to no skin showing, should be good. What?

Being married to a... over-endowed woman, I can say: No large breasted woman would ever agree. Back pain is... Unpleasing.

I'm about two cup sizes smaller than my owner's real wife.
No, he didn't marry her for her measurements - That's just what happens to some otherwise reasonably-endowed women when they have children. The *****-fairy shows up and lays a curse on you.

I don't think it's entirely down to male preference... one of the reasons large breasts will be predominant in the game is if you're clicking and dragging the size settings, the easiest and most commons settings will be maximal and, at certain angles, the axial area for interim values is actually quite small (honestly, the UI needs work).

The end result is you generally get an inverse bell-curve distribution (which is the opposite of the real world). Add to that player bias (yes, they probably do prefer larger breasts) and that is why maximum sized breasts are ridiculously common, even if they look.... wrong.

Thank you. Big smile I took some pictures of Meisa Kuroki as model for the character. It helps to study human faces before starting because of the complexity of the creator. To get a sense for the facial lines and proportions. IF you care for such things, of course.
