They'd "fix" it by not allowing ESS to be in anoms. That's not really fixing. :)

you clearl didnt read.. its how/where people are deploying it so that its impossible to be stolen from and is guarded by NPCs when it shouldnt be

I ran into one of these today, down in goon renter space in Period Basis. It's not impossible to steal from, but it certainly makes it a lot more work than I was willing to put in. It makes it difficult to steal them with one character, and moderately annoying to steal if you have some friends with you.

Probably unintended, maybe slotted to be "fixed," certainly interesting.

That sentiment, is one of the reasons I'm so against the 5% nerf. I love the sandbox and yes, please give us tools. But don't do silly things in an excuse to introduce them.

it's still easy to steal from just go in something that can tank 2k dps from the rats with a micro jump drive to get rid of the point once you've stolen the isk just because you're lazy don't mean ccp should change things to make it easy for you

One of the most common posts offered as a rebuttal to players angry about a particular mechanic that they view as abusive is that they, themselves, have access to the same mechanics, and with proper planning and organization, they can use it. The utilization of game mechanics in an unanticipated and surprising way is the essence of what makes eve a great game.

I say let its remain as it is, if someone takes the time to research and prune the anomaly to set up a trap, then a ganker can organize a fleet to steal from the ESS.
