seems alright to me...does that however indicate an upcoming iteration on the hull repair modules?

Thanks

Can we get a "repair me" button.

Also is now a good time to start requesting module repair drones :P

Very nice. Will be good to be able to carry a wing of light hull bots for roams in ships with very large bays (instead of having to theoretically waste a high slot), for those rare instances someone takes hull damage and doesn't die from it.

Are you going to make the hull reps any less terrible while you are at it?

Nice addition indeed.

Remove standings and insurance.

I think it's a capital Idea... I miss the whole WTFBBQPWN Hull tanking concept.

I think until you are able to receive reps from your own drones, things like this, although nice, are pretty pointless.

You are still going to have to get someone to meet you in space and rep you. that person may as well use remote hull reps or you could just use a local hull rep.

Both local and remote hull reps take slots though, these could be really useful on a mainly guns/missiles ship that has 50m3 drone space, since you are fighting at range if you go into hull it would be very handy to have your corpies hull rep you and vice versa without impacting your mid/high slots

But that drone space is usually better served by using combat drones to kill your target faster rather than try to use rep drones.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

If you are talking about using these in battle, these hull rep drones will be ineffective.

Just like with local hull reps, the only place that they will be used is out of combat. It could be a nice idea to take some of these on a roam so that you can rep your fleet to 100% ehp after a fight but realistically, these things work far too slow to make that viable.

... The best thing to do would be for CCP to give all logistics ships a bonus to hull rep drones and a hull rep drone bay.

Very nice addition. More ways to repair damage while in deep space means less docking up, fits with the future vision as I understand it.

Will the 100% bonus to Logistic Drone repair amount on the T1 Logistics ships apply to these drones? Will any of the T2 Logistics ships have a bonus to Hull Repair amount?

Talking about drones, when are lowsec residents going to be able to use drone assist again?

The issues surrounding clearly communicating the crimewatch implications of that capability makes it more trouble than it would be worth for now. Sorry.

+1 on this, sorry to hear it's a lot of work. I thought it was a bug so I reported it.

Trying to get on killmails with drones while stuff is being alpha'd and disappearing almost as fast as you can lock, while running logistics at the same time is pretty tough. Admittedly I'm new at this, but I'm embarrassed by the number of times I've accidentally attacked my teammates Oops

Turns out the upcoming Rubicon point release will be both pat on the back (hull drones) and kick in the balls (drone assist cap) . Balance is indeed everythingBig smile.

this is good news, but can we also get a capital hull repair unit to go along with it? to make life a little easier on capitals inside pos shields, particularly capitals that are unable to dock?
